Virginia

Date: Nov. 22, 2008

Opponent: Clemson (13-3 Clemson)

Tailgating/Pregame: There are many parking lots for fans to tailgate, and I did see many setups. However, the most common setup included wine, cheese, and a fancy tablecloth. It just felt strange. From our spot we were able to walk through a small forest towards the stadium. It was quite beautiful.

Crowd: Underwhelming. The student section was stronger than the rest of the crowd, but it was just quiet most of the time.

Stadium experience: I have regrets that I didn't take more photos, because I remember that the stadium was beautiful. At one end is an open-seating field with some columns behind the field.

Overall: The stadium announcer mentioned that it was one the coldest game on record, and I remember it being extremely cold. The game was fairly boring, and Clemson seemed to plod along to a victory.

My only photo from the day (I have many regrets that I have no other photos). Yes, it was very cold.
