Thursday - Soccer City #2
This day was just a gameday. It was nice and warm, since we were on the sunny side of Soccer City. The game, despite being a 4-1 win for Argentina, was actually pretty dull. The fans were the most interesting, the Koreans having tons of spirit, and the Argentinians being crazy. We had really great seats for this game, seeing 3 goals on our side of the field. It was the 1:30 pm game, so we made it back to the hotel with plenty of time to watch the nightcap - Mexico/France. We had a chance to go to that game, but would have had to skip the Arg/Korea game. In retrospect, that would have been the right move, but at least we got to see Messi in person. I know the 4 hr bus ride back from Polokwane would have been awesome with the Mexican fans, and their seemingly endless supply of tequila. Seriously, where do they buy it all from?
